MINIMUM EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 2 years of experience leading and overseeing IT projects or deliverable lifecycles. CANDIDATE MUST BE A US CITIZEN WITH AN ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE MINIMUM CERTIFICATION Hold and maintain an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. ITIL V3 is highly desired. Clearance Level Required Final Secret security clearance is required, and candidate will be initiated TSSCI eligibility within 30 days of onboard. A current TS with SCi eligibility is highly desired. Candidate will maintain the required security clearance throughout the life of the contract. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Ability to plan, estimate, propose, execute, staff, budget, and close out IT projects. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Strong communications skills in verbally presentations and written documents. Problem solving skills in personal management, project management, and providing deliverables Good organizational skills. Must be a strong team player. Proficiency in IT project planning and monitoring progress of IT projects. Proven ability to meet IT project deadlines and work effectively within time constraints. Experience with a variety of writing types proposals, PowerPoint presentations, manuals, job performance aids, photos, posters, project status report, etc. Experience with graphics programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, SnagIt and similar programs. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to design templates and customize styles. Familiarity with Desktop Publishing and DoD publications, XML, HTML and ArborText. Expert knowledge of IT Systems and understanding of Networking and Computer Information Systems. Must be physically located onsite at Fort Gordon FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY Directs the performance of a variety of related projects, which may be organized by technology, program or client. Leads, coordinates, communicates, integrates, and is accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities. Typically reports to a Senior Program Manager. Experience in standing up new programs with DOD program execution experience desired. Working with DOD and company leadership to forecast emerging DOD IT opportunities and plan for capture resources for the pursuits. Support routine status reviews (Program Management Reviews) and regular meetings with government customers, end users, and other vendors to provide information for government insight and management. Support the development and implementation of a Program Management Plan (PMP). Program management and administrative tasks to ensure the requirements of the contract are met and to ensure the contractor adequately controls and supervises personnel who perform services under this contract. Coordinate and complete projects in support of the customer's IT Transformation. Manage deliverables, status and quality elements throughout the project lifecycle. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of project. Coordinate and monitor the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of the project. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Prepare reports for senior leadership regarding status of project. Build and maintain working relationships with team members involved in the projects. Establish internal support for the methods used to complete the project. Assist in the development of high complex solutions that support the customer. Develop and manage written project plans, including program schedules and communicate plans with all Government staff, contract team members, users, and other parties involved in the project. Communicate project needs, goals, and milestones with appropriate Government and Corporate Leaders Produce reports and documents in support of the customer. Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules and develop solutions to project problems. Work closely with Government leaders to ensure the development and delivery of integrated solutions, providing input into project direction and design. Act as technical writing advisor regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Define and develop project processes, requirements, flows, structure, schedule, and deliverables. Research, develop, and write content for printed and electronic manuals, documentation, and supporting materials for software, hardware, technical procedures, and IT-related services. Prepare and maintain documentation and publications relating to users, systems, programming, operations, products, and services. Gather and research technical information, including engineering and development information, for use in documentation activities. Interview programmers, engineers, developers, and other technical personnel to become familiar with product technology and development methods. Create graphical images, flow charts, and diagrams for inclusion in documentation. Attend meetings directly related to or associated with assigned projects which may be on or off site (local). May require occasional travel.
