The Communications Consultant, COODivision, reportingto a Senior Manager partners to develop and drive strategic internal andexecutive communications in support of our Chief Operating Officer and ChiefMarketing & Customer Officer.
What you’re upto: Developand execute internal communications campaigns to create clarity and confidencein our core strategies to achieve operational excellence, serve more membersand deliver a high-quality, personal customer experience. Inpartnership with subject matter experts, develop articles, blogs, FAQs, andother materials necessary to communicate to employees Supportorganization webcasts, online town halls, listening sessions and other employeemeetings. Publishcontent on our internal social media platform (i.e., Yammer) Developcreative briefs and concepts to execute across a variety of media (videos,webinar presentations, events/meetings) Leverageemployee feedback channels, monitor real-time feedback, analyze data, and makerecommendations to continuously improve communications approach.
Your education & experience Aminimum of 5-7 years of experience in internal, HR or employee communicationsor public relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Abachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications, English orrelated field. Strongwriting and message development skills; ability to translate complex ideas andtell a story in simple, straightforward language. Experiencewith SharePoint or other intranet or interactive media and web-basedcommunication vehicles are a plus. Abilityto develop communications strategy and manage multiple programs in afast-paced, high-change environment. Ateam player and strong collaborator who can manage competing priorities andtight deadlines. Experiencecollaborating with and providing counsel to senior executives. Proficiencywith MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, survey and web publishing tools. Proactiveproblem solving and a healthy level of willingness to try something new Familiaritywith insurance or healthcare industries a plus
