CRI Advantage seeks a Software Quality Assurance Test Manager who is experienced in developing and executing test strategies, building comprehensive and maintainable automated testing solutions, training end users for user acceptance testing, managing user acceptance testing, and defining and sharing quality metrics that give accurate and useful information on the quality of the product. The selected individual will have experience in managing testing for a large scale project or organization that includes defining the processes, roles, toolsets, and types of validation that would be performed, including performance testing, user acceptance testing, data validation, interface and configuration testing. Additionally, this person will be responsible for defining the regression strategy and creating a regression suite that remains viable and reduces manual regression testing needs, thereby speeding software release cycle time. The individual will need to write use cases, test cases, test plans and train others in effectively completing these tasks. Agency Expected Deliverables Deliverables The chosen individual would work with the OMS Project Team Define overall testing strategy for the OMS Replacement Project Develop a sustainable and repeatable testing process that supports iterative releases of product functionality Define the roles needed for an effective testing strategy Define the types of testing to be conducted Identify environmental needs to support testing strategy Define testing tool set to be used to support the testing strategy for the project Define user acceptance testing processes Develop automation testing strategy including Defining scenarios to be automated Roles required to build and maintain a comprehensive automated testing solution Determine timing for automating within the scope and schedule of the OMS replacement project Build the components of the approved testing strategy Build testing tools, methods and artifacts that support the strategy Architect and build a sustainable and repeatable automated testing process that is integrated into the overall testing strategy that are Built just-in-time Continuously maintained to prevent the tests from becoming stale Manageable as the test suite grows Provide training to staff as needed on The purpose for the overall testing strategy in support of delivering a successful product Testing terms, methodologies, best practices, and tool sets Automation tool sets, strategy, and best practices Manage, control and report on testing activities Identify metrics to be tracked to gauge project and product quality Define a strategy for publishing the right metrics to the right audience at the right time Identify dependencies within the project that will impact testing activities Inspect testing activities over time and adapt to changing needs and implement identified improvements Define thresholds for product releases Collaborate with the chosen OMS vendor as needed to ensure a quality product release Requirements Certified as a software test professional through a recognized organization or equivalent Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern testing tool sets to support complex, fast-paced software replacement projects Six plus years of relevant experience in software quality assurance Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end testing processes and technical solutions Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining automated testing processes and technical solutions Demonstrated completion of large-scale, complex enterprise computer software system implementations with one or more state agencies Must display skill and experience in working with customers to manage successful user acceptance testing Experience mentoring or supervising other quality assurance staff Experience working within an agile methodology frameworkenvironment is necessary Proven experience generating iterative testing plans and visual metrics is necessary Agile certification is a plus Experience in multiple agile roles is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits Great things happen when you have the CRI Advantage!
