~ Manager, Business Solutions Analysis is responsible for working and directly engaging with Hyundai AutoEver America (HAEA) and/or 3rd Parties in order to develop and maintain the technical capabilities required to support HMA business objectives. Successful candidate will work directly with business and IT to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project meet defined objectives. Success will require sophisticated process, technology and project management skills, as well as strong analytical skills.
~ Engage with HMA business divisions, (primarily Parts, Service, CRM, and Owner Marketing) to fully understand their IT needs and work collaboratively to identify and scope a solution to meet those needs.
~ Liaison between business stakeholders and IT community to enhance and maintain the business systems.
~ Manage project issues, risks and actions
~ Assesses risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands
~ Manage projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
~ Lead in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
~ Manage project initiation, planning, organizing, and researching details of system projects. Interact closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams throughout a project’s lifecycle.
~ Engage with the business to estimate the ROI/ benefit of implementing desired request to HMA’s bottom line.
~ Coordinates the Purchasing Process and Statement of Work process between Business Departments, IT and/or 3rd party vendors.
~ Manage the development and publishing of various project reports and presentations, i.e., project charter, project executive status report, weekly status report, major milestones/activities report, planning/communication report, research/investigation/survey report, project closing report, project training guides etc.
~ Provide leadership and guidance on project tasks to team members, contractors and junior staff based on individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
~ Use and continually develop leadership skills.
~ The authority involves system decision making that includes, but is not limited to conducting research and decision recommendations for upper management on system related tasks (e.g., user acceptance testing plan, approval and recommendations, system security set up and system access level decisions); decision making including appropriate software or platform solution recommendations; monitor and maintain project related activities, generate/distribute project related documents/reports and other general system support activities.
~ Monitoring and assessing performance of other individuals or organizations to make improvement or take corrective action on system projects.
~ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
~ Master’s degree a plus.
~ Five to Six years of automotive service, parts and customer experience related systems with an understanding of IT organizations, their purpose, and the development cycle.
~ Four to five years of supervisory experience desired.
~ Agency and/or supplier management experience helpful.
~ Experience is SQL, Databases and systems design/analysis a plus.
~ Experience applying common development methodologies, financial analysis and project management techniques.
~ Experience creating and presenting executive facing presentations and other material.
~ Strong attention to detail and timelines.
~ Proven in-depth knowledge of project management and development procedures.
~ Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
~ The ability to manage by influence as well as authority.
~ Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
~ Ability to identify/quantify business opportunity as it applies to technology.
~ Ability to work independently of under only very general direction.
~ Demonstrate ability to interpret business processes and communicate these effectively to IT project teams.
~ Ability to develop and analyze technical reports.
~ Positive and upbeat attitude.
~ Exhibit strong leadership skills.
~ Able to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
~ Hands on experience in budgeting.
~ Strong oral and written communication skills.
~ Able to effectively oversee system design that encompasses various departments’ and partners’ needs.
~ PMP Certification preferred.
~ Normal office duties.
~ Overtime working and business traveling as needed/requested. This position needs passport for oversea business trips.
