J.P. Morgan is seeking a Social Media Associate to support CIB Marketing and Communications. This position is based in New York and will report to the global head of social media. The Social Media Associate will work closely with the core team as well as various stakeholders across the firm to produce content, monitor firm-owned social media channels, escalate reputational issues, and report on social media campaign performance. Experience managing agencies and paid media buying desired; graphic design skills a plus. Responsibilities Manage and draft editorial content calendars for social media campaigns and channels, specifically with a focus on corporate responsibility initiatives and programs and brand campaigns. Monitor brand mentions, escalating reputational issues as necessary Support the J.P. Morgan CIB Communications team in community management across various social media platforms Maintain an ongoing dialogue with various internal stakeholders to effectively communicate the firms business and cultural messages Collaborate with legal, compliance, and controls to mitigate risk and ensure proper approvals are secured Understand social media metrics in order to track results and provide recommendations for optimization Effectively communicate on project timeline, status and results Qualifications Bachelors degree 4-6 years experience Prior agency experience and/or social media management experience Experience buying, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns Skills Experience managing editorial calendars across various social platforms Experience with managing paid social media campaigns and budgets Proven ability to exercise sound judgment Experience with social media monitoring and management tools for publishing, reporting, and social listening (i.e. Sprinklr, Radian6, Hootsuite, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) Passion for social media, PR and digital marketing Confidence to pitch fresh ideas, think creatively, and identify and solve problems Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, excel, Powerpoint) Ability to cultivate relationships in the firm across divisions and lines of business Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously Strong research skills Team player with enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. Eager to learn, contribute, and make an impact.
