Role and Responsibilities


KBR is currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer II/Content Manager - Lead for the JTDI program to provide Weapon System Web Site (WSWS) administration and platform specific data management.The Content Manager Lead will be part of a team with a broad knowledge of the Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI) customer base to include Army Aviation, Army Ground, Navy Air, Marine Corp, and Air Force.The Content Manager will have working knowledge of all JTDI hosted WSWS as well as replicated web sites that are deployed to Mid-Tier sites.The Content Manager Lead must be customer focused in support of our warfighter mission and have a broad technical knowledge of the JTDI system to include the Top Tier Liferay Portal, Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) hosting, and JTDI Delivery Management Service (JDMS).

Systems Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide daily status situational report (SITREP) to contractor team lead or Project lead

  • Provide continual service improvement and customer feedback on sustainment support activities and make recommendations to improve JTDI sustainment support to the war fighter

  • Provide problem escalation and incident routing to the proper JTDI support group

  • Leverage Service Desk ticketing system track and document completed tasks

  • Work with Navy Ship, Shore, and Marine Corp MALS sites to coordinate WSWS maintenance activities that may impact system availability

  • Provide proactive customer response for safety related updates that impact fleet readiness

  • Working knowledge of tools and techniques required to support Liferay 6.2 Enterprise Portal deployed applications and web sites

  • Experience with web application tools and scripts such as JavaScript, CSS, PHP and Java

  • Experience with web publishing tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud product suite

  • Qualifications

    System Engineer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, degree or equivalent with 5 to 8 years relevant experience

  • Current Security + certification

  • Secret clearance
