Associate Managing Editor ? Clarkson Potter, Harmony, Rodale

This individual will report to the Executive Managing Editor. The responsibilities will include working closely with the Executive Managing Editor to set up and maintain title information; communicating with the editorial, operations, sales, and promotion departments to maintain publishing schedules and goals; working with inventory and corporate production to coordinate ongoing imprint reprints; and providing administrative support for the production editorial group.

* 3 years of trade book managing editorial experience; copyediting or production editorial experience a plus
* Excellent communication skills, including a proven ability to interact with employees across various departments
* Superb organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment with attention to detail and thoughtfulness
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* SAP knowledge a plus
