    The Social Media Manager will help develop the strategy and oversee the day-to-day execution of strategic paid and organic social media initiatives that expand Pure’s brand awareness, drive customer growth and ultimately increase conversation. This includes social media content and channel management, measurement and analysis of social media initiatives, and establishing and maintaining social media governance. This person is also expected to collaborate and align with regional teams on local program execution.

    We are looking for a team member who has a proven track record of rolling up their sleeves to get the work done, thrives on analysis to refine how to optimize, has a global mindset and a passion for writing compelling content. This role reports to the Head of Social & Influencer Relations.

    What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead daily social activity to support global strategy, planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of the main Pure Storage corporate social accounts onFacebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn that include: 
  • Developing and publishing compelling social content daily that aligns with Pure’s brand, editorial voice, and SEO best practices with a focus on growing followers and driving engagement.
  • Creating and managing editorial calendars and publishing schedules for social content, promotions, and campaign activations on the main corporate social accounts.
  • Manage and integrate strong global social engagement to support lead generation, awareness, and collaboration with other groups such as: 
  • Develop, grow, and manage a global employee advocacy program. Drive content programming, monitoring social activity and insights to drive increased engagement.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders to drive social selling best practices focused on building relationships, driving valuable conversations with prospects and customers and generating leads.
  • Partner with product and campaign marketing teams to integrate organic and paid social activities to optimize social marketing ROI
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Partner with influencer marketing to develop effective campaigns, strategic partnerships and collaboration with bloggers and influencers.
  • Lead asset requests, development and approvals of creative activities
  • Act as Marketing's expert on technologies, trends, and changes within social media; advise others on social media best practices as well as emerging platforms.
  • Establish guidelines, trainings and requirements for upstream and downstream stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and social programs
  • Ensure alignment with the Pure Storage SEO program with a focus on building audiences, driving conversations, increasing brand awareness and converting prospects to customers.
  • What You Bring To The Team

  • Previous agency experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with social media tools such as Sprinklr, EveryoneSocial, and Traackr
  • Three to five years of experience in a social media role
  • Proven work experience managing social media programs in the B2B technology space
  • Deep understanding of social media channels and ways to leverage paid, earned, and owned media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of SEO and keyword research
  • Ability to lead through influence
  • Ability to think analytically, and creatively 
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
