Position Overview

Join a vibrant, world-class team at Ralph Lauren. In this role you will own the playbook for how we create content for social platforms in partnership with a dynamic digital team. The role of video, voice, and photographic content on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat is ever changing, and to keep up we must dedicate equal time to the HOW and the WHAT. You'll build each channel to its best in class use and continue to evolve it to meet new requirements of advertising. You will also own our relationship with emerging platforms, and bring together creative concepts from our content studio and agencies that can improve how we operate on these channels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the global marketing and brand creative
Own Ralph Lauren social visual playbook and channel strategies
Provide expert guidance on platform developments, platform trends and translate them into actionable recommendations for content development
Partner with analytics team in crafting insight-led recommendations on campaigns/initiatives, on-going channel best practices and health.
Support creative teams in ensuring creative, copy inputs are on-strategy, optimized for platform best practices.
Work closely with platform partners at building deep knowledge of opportunities for Ralph Lauren to be a first-mover in creative, ads spaces.
*Weekly and seasonal content planning
*Conceptualize social narratives and stories that ladder back to marketing priorities and social strategy
*Partner with styling/design, PR, celebrity, and hospitality teams to create rich storytelling and engaging content during live and special events
*Manage content planning presentation decks and present to cross-functional teams on a weekly basis
*Collaborate and support on all social needs across brand campaigns, special projects, and social-first activations

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Proven track record creating, concepting and evolving social and content strategy.
Knowledge of social media marketing trends, best practices, and strategy.
Self-starter with a proven track record of cross-team partnership in development of social/digital campaigns that are on-strategy and drive results.
Demonstrated ability to translating data & insights into creative and strategic recommendation.
Success in building cross-group, cross-functional relationships.
Strong organizational skills + the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or related field.
* Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator a plus
* Mobile content expertise a plus: mobile photography, editing, color, mobile video, animations, and design
