WHO OUR CLIENT IS:

Search Solution Group is looking for a Education, Training & Safety Manager to join the team of our client who is in the trade association.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Focus on the design, development, and evaluation of instructional offerings.

  • Run several Safety Committee meetings per year.

  • Develop learning objectives to describe desired outcomes and ensure learning materials support those objectives.

  • Keep pace with changing technology within the education and training industry and more broadly across industry sectors.

  • Provide leadership and direction on industry standards, platform capabilities, and market trends.

  • Develop Education, Safety & Training offerings.

  • Ensure the learning experience is properly resourced with content and instructors to deliver necessary learning solutions on-time for the targeted audience(s).

  • Create and manage project and educational documentation.

  • Launch Curricula and Content.

  • Instructor selection, scheduling

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop, execute, and maintain a system of measurement on usage, efficacy and impact of learning opportunities and specific marketing campaigns.

  • Identify appropriate metrics to evaluate effectiveness of learning activities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction management, Publishing, Education, Communications or equivalent.

  • Work Experience: 

  • Minimum three years of relevant experience with developing and facilitating learning programs in a corporate setting, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Demonstrated leader with business experience.

  • Knowledge of current best practices related to adult learning principles.

  • Understanding of design and development principles, best practices, learning theories, and how they vary depending on delivery method.

  • Construction industry experience is desirable, but not required.

  • Experience with iMIS Association Management Software preferred, but not required.

  • Additional Skills:

  • Strong administrative and project management skills.

  • Results oriented.

  • Self-starter.

  • Computer literate.

  • Willingness and ability to travel.
