Provides technical support and assistance in the creation and modification of the divisions' applications by working with internal business stakeholders (senior management and system users), external Financial Institutions, and IT personnel.
Analyzes business applications and designs improvement modifications by writing business requirements and processes.
Analyzes problems and errors produced by business applications and users of business applications and recommends controls by writing improved procedures that will effectively correct the problems.
Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; and recommending actions.
Determines operational objectives by analyzing business functions; gathering information; and evaluating output requirements and formats.
Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements and system capabilities; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; and writing specifications.
Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forms project teams; and establishes project budget.
Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; provides help desk support; and trains users.
Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Must have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field.
Must have at least two (2) years business application analysis, project management, or related experience, preferably in a web-based environment.
Must have the following skills and/or abilities:
Strong understanding of functional requirements, recommend and/or make changes, and test against the final implementation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Working knowledge of project life cycle and project management methodologies..
Basic understanding of database design, development, and implementation.
Strong verbal and written communication, negotiating, and presentation skills.
Strong time management skills and willingness to take responsibilities for meeting goals, objectives and project deadlines.
Ability to effectively write and present business correspondence, reports and procedure manuals.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
PMP certification preferred.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time executing, validating, and/or implementing computer applications.
Able to lift 10-20 lbs. of reports, files, or other documents.
Able to stoop, kneel, and stand to retrieve documents and other such items.
Attends educational workshops; review professional publications; establish personal networks; benchmark state-of-the-art practices; and/or participate in professional societies in order to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
