The Hill is seeking a full-time Ad Planner for our New York office, working within our national sales team. The ad planner will be the conduit between sales, ad operations, marketing, and other relevant teams to ideate and manage campaigns for The Hills clients.ResponsibilitiesSupport development of RFP process, strategically addressing the needs of clients and campaign objectivesBuild and revise media plans, managing product availability and ensuring all inventory is up-to-date for internal teamsCoordinate campaign launch and delivery with ad operations, branded content, events, and/or other teams relevant to campaignsManage wrap ups and coordinate with sales representatives for potential upsell opportunitiesEnsure all reporting and necessary campaign communications are delivered to the client and/or agency in a timely mannerCoordinate with ad operations and relevant teams throughout campaigns to ensure full completion, optimizing when necessaryUnderstand the full suite of The Hill products (digital and print)Maintains an understanding of up-to-date digital offerings, IAB standards, and best practices, ensuring all media meets industry standardsMaintain frequent communication with Project Directors to ensure all campaign initiatives are in alignmentRequirements & Skills1-3 years publishing, media, advertising, sales experienceStrong experience in digital sale planningMust be able to multi-task, have strong organizational skills, and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesMust have strong interpersonal skills, with highly collaborative styleStrong communications skills, both written and verbalDetail oriented, with strong analytical skillsKnowledge of Google advertising platforms (Google Ad Manager-DFP, Google Analytics), and/or other relevant advertising platformsProficient in Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel
