The objective of the Chief of Staff to the COO is to manage executive productivity and team cooperation. The role of the Chief of Staff is to extend the COOs internal and external reach, align the division's leadership team on priority initiatives and strengthen the divisions management team relationships. The Chief of Staff acts as a thought partner to the executive and a part of an organization's executive team, and is expected to participate in executive level decision making, be responsible for scaling it and provide a point of view. What youll do: Align division management and team on priority initiatives. Support the COO in directing and empowering business development and cross-functional operational leadership team for the Chorus SaaS, Coral and Concert business lines Directly assist COO with the identification, management and execution of emerging priority initiatives and special projects Ensure Product, Design and Technology (PDT) leadership has a unified, aligned approach to cross-functional initiatives Create space for leaders and managers to have strategic conversations about the business and culture Prioritize and form key messages from stream of executive ideas and conversations. Develop plans for communicating key messages throughout the organization Strengthen management team relationships. Coordinate and evaluate how management should spend their time together, including running the weekly/monthly meetings, offsites, and social gatherings Be a thought partner to leadership on the organizations vision, priorities, challenges, and team culture Maintain and improve our division-wide leadership and departmental communication systems, including company priorities, network and LOB plans, department all-hands, etc. Extend COOs internal and external reach. Track PDTs priority initiatives that are being driven by leaders throughout the organization and report back on progress to the COO Act as the communication arm for COO with other executives in the organization, other Chiefs of Staff /Operations leaders, clients or major stakeholders Write first drafts of proposals, emails, letters, agendas, etc. for Executive Help COO prioritize time and appointments Provide insight to the COO about what the team and the division needs from him/her Lead and track on initiatives as proxy for executive as necessary/appropriate What youll bring: Significant experience supporting executives/an executive team Organization and the ability to move forward in the execution of high-priority, cross-functional initiatives through coordinated project plans.
